Central Christian Academy’s Accelerated Three-Year Graduation Program

Central Christian Academy’s Accelerated Three-Year Graduation Program

Founded in 1971, Central Christian Academy has been providing a premiere Christ-centered educational foundation based on a Biblical platform, sending graduating students and future leaders to some of the country’s elite collegiate institutions. As one of the top private schools in Indianapolis, nearly 100% of CCA graduates move on to four-year colleges.

Central Christian Academy has a faculty and administration that is committed to leading a rigorous curriculum of Christ-centered education, as well as developing leaders in and out of the classroom, on the stage, and the athletic field. The school’s special programs for college readiness set it apart from other Indianapolis private schools.

Indiana’s Core 40

Central Christian Academy follows the State of Indiana’s Core 40 program, as it is the academic foundation all students need to succeed in college, apprenticeships, military training, and the workforce.

The Core 40 program became Indiana’s required high school curriculum in 2007 and allows students to balance a sequenced curriculum of rigorous high school courses in core subjects of English/language arts, mathematics, science and social studies, physical education and wellness, and electives in world languages, career/technical, and fine arts.

The challenging coursework of Core 40 results in big rewards. Students who have taken strong academic courses in high school are more likely to enroll in college and successfully complete their degrees. The Core 40 program also broadens career options with training programs that aid preparation and provide money for college.

CCA’s Accelerated 3-Year Graduation Program

At Central Christian Academy, one of the best private high schools in Indianapolis, students have the chance to graduate in three years. CCA offers its high school-aged students the ability to collect all their “Core 40” credits in three years, allowing them to use their final year for internships, job opportunities, apprenticeships, and more opportunities to become a better-prepared graduate.

Academics at Central Christian Academy is more than just sitting in a room and learning from a teacher, which is why it is among the top private schools in Indianapolis. The school’s unique programs provide students with skills that can be carried into the workforce after graduation. The off-campus fourth year gives students the opportunity to build relationships in the local working community that can help shape their success in their college major and future career.

CCA Partners With Urban College Acceleration Network (UCAN)

The state of Indiana has a partnership program between urban Indiana schools with a mission of increasing students’ access to post-secondary courses through the Early College High School Program.

As one of the top private schools in Indianapolis, Central Christian Academy has embraced the program and is working to help close the gaps that persist in such areas as reading, math and educational attainment among Indiana’s racially and ethnically diverse population.

The partnership establishes the Early College High Schools as mentors for their partner schools, providing the partner schools with guidance and support as they work to accelerate their path towards becoming an Early College High School.

Through UCAN, partner schools will have access to coaching and support for Early College coursework, along with educator professional development at no cost.
