CTE at CCA
At Central Christian Academy, we believe in equipping students not just for graduation, but for life. Our commitment to academic excellence goes hand in hand with preparing students for their future careers. Through our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Career Scholarship Account (CSA) programs, students gain practical skills and financial support that set them on a path to success—whether in college or the workforce.
Understanding CTE and CSA Programs
What is CTE?
Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers students hands-on learning opportunities in real-world environments, from business and health sciences to technology and engineering. These pathways give our students a head start in fields that matter, providing essential skills and certifications that make them competitive in today’s job market.

What is CSA?
The Career Scholarship Account (CSA) program is an Indiana state initiative designed to financially support students pursuing high-demand careers. By providing scholarship funds, the CSA program helps cover costs associated with CTE coursework, certifications, and more. This allows our students to access the best training and education without the financial burden, opening doors to endless possibilities.

CTE Pathways Offered
At CCA, we are proud to offer a variety of CTE pathways that align with students’ interests and career aspirations:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, offered as part of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway, provides students with hands-on training in patient care, safety, and medical procedures. This program equips students with the skills and certification needed to enter the healthcare field immediately after high school or continue their education in nursing and other medical careers.
Information Systems Technician
Students may pursue various job titles, including but not limited to: Software Developer, Data Analyst, IT Support Specialist, Web Developer, and Systems Administrator. Students may also obtain certifications in CompTIA A+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) to further enhance their qualifications in the tech job market.
Welding Apprentice
The welding CTE program provides students with foundational skills in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and safety, preparing them for high-demand careers in the trades. Upon completion, students may be offered to participate in a five-year apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience and industry certifications that lead to long-term career opportunities.
RV Technician
CSA Funding Opportunities
The CSA program provides scholarship funds that make pursuing these CTE pathways more accessible. Eligible students can use CSA funds to cover tuition, fees, and other costs associated with their chosen career pathway. At CCA, we guide families through the CSA application process, ensuring students get the support they need to thrive.

Student Benefits
CTE programs provide high school students with hands-on experience, specialized training, and direct pathways to rewarding careers. Whether gaining real-world skills in the classroom, accessing financial support for career development, or personalizing their learning journey, students can take charge of their futures and graduate with a competitive edge.
Career Readiness
Our CTE programs go beyond the classroom, offering students the chance to work on industry-specific projects, internships, and real-world simulations. This practical experience ensures that our graduates are not just prepared—they are ahead of the curve.
Financial Support
The CSA program reduces the financial barriers to specialized education, making it possible for more students to pursue their passions without the stress of high costs. With CSA funding, students at CCA can take advantage of every opportunity to excel.
Personalized Learning
Every student is unique, and our CTE and CSA programs allow for personalized learning experiences tailored to individual goals. Whether a student dreams of becoming a nurse, an engineer, or a business owner, CCA provides the resources and guidance to make those dreams a reality.
